1. A link from Vicky Davis (@coolcatteacher) about 10 ways to personalize learning for studetn's. My favorite of the then was number 10, Learn to block out haters. It gave two different cites to use, Stay Focused and Rescue Time were the two links she gave to block different things while the students are trying to focus and work rather than playing games or scrolling through social media. I did not know multitasking was a myth but once I read this it all made since, and this will help them a ton with staying on task.
2. Mark Anderson ( @ICTEvangelist) I was on his page and some how got to a different page that he Retweeted, by Terry Heick about 10 Tips For Smarter Ipad Use In The Classroom. One of them that I really liked was number 6, Curate the work in an organized way. I think this is such a great way to measure students growth because it allows them to make something and then have the chance to revise it at a later date, showing how much they have learned over the course. This will show a teacher if they have mastered what they are learning or if they have not. Also it just gives them a chance to really reflect on what they had done originally and why it was right or wrong, making them learn so much more from their first time.
3.Dena Simmons (@Dena Simmons) she retweeted one of Kyle Schwartz's (@kyleschwartz) tweets and it is an audiobook called I wish my teacher knew. Not just the book in particular but the use of audiobooks is such a great things. This gives a child the ability to read a book without having the book right in front of them. They can listen and retain information. If some students are more hearing learners, then this would be a great tool for them to have.
